I’m trying to get a sires of American Civil War shot stories published by a magazine and have been trying see if Civil War mags more bent toward history would take my submissions but so far they aren’t interested, and I’ve been bumming around the internet trying to find short fiction mags that publish historical fiction and so far, I’ve come away with nothing. I’ve gotten one story published (but they did not pay) so I know am am a decent writer. Does anyone have any tips on finding a market? Is getting a subscription to writers market worth it? Thanks!
